Hi everyone!

It's been so long since we have updated the blog... oops. We did so much over the summer and we started writing posts but never finished or published them.

In 2023 Jason and I are hoping to revive the blog with some new adventures. We also want to start making videos to go along with our blog posts.

Since we didn't update much towards the end of summer, in this post we will be recapping all of the big things we did this summer that we missed posting on the blog.

To begin, we did almost everything off of the bucket list except strawberry picking and running a 5km race. I did update the list on the original post throughout the summer.

End of June - we really wanted to do a photoshoot this summer so we did one at the end of June at Pinney's Point Historic Site. This was a super fun experience. It was only a mini 15 minute session but we loved the turnout of the photos!

July - in July we went on our first solo camping trip in a tent to Driftwood Provincial Park. This was something new for us since we are used to camping with my parents in their trailer, but it was fun! This park is small but has a super nice beach which you could access from the campsite.

Throughout the summer - Jason and I tried indoor rock climbing this summer and we loved it! We visited Altitude Rock Climbing Gym in Kanata (second location in Gatineau) a few times this summer and we someday hope to take lessons. It's a super fun activity but very tiring on the upper body.

End of July to beginning of August - our big trip this year was to New Brunswick and PEI! It was Jason's first time visiting the Maritimes! We visited with my cousins in NB and Jason also has family in PEI. We explored Magnetic Hill, Hopewell Rocks, Cavendish, Thunder Cove and Cabot Beach.

End of August - Jason and I visited Killaloe for a weekend staying in a cabin at Lakepoint Cottage Resort on Golden Lake. It was beautiful! We stayed in a tiny cabin with just a bed, table, mini fridge and fan. We went swimming, kayaking, paddle boating and we also explored Bonnechere Caves nearby. The property was amazing and had so many amenities for us to use and gorgeous views! We really want to go back!

Overall, Jason and I had a great summer full of adventures! For 2023, we will create a new list of things we want to try and hopefully make many more blog posts and some videos too!
