Driving Range at Falcon Ridge Golf Club

Another thing on our bucket list was to try was a driving range. This is something Jason and I have never tried!

We went to Falcon Ridge Golf Club in Ottawa on a Friday afternoon. It was quite busy! We really didn't know what to expect because we have never tried golf or a driving range before. We purchased a large bucket of golf balls for $11. We didn't bring clubs because they mentioned on the phone that we could use some at the club. We weren't given too much instruction on what to do or where to go so we just assumed we were at the right spot LOL.

We weren't given any tees to use and hitting from the mats wasn't really working so we just hit from the grass with tees that were left out which worked fine. We were the only ones on the driving range for a while which was nice because we weren't the best!!! It took us probably 45 minutes to use up all of the golf balls in the large bin which I think was very reasonably priced. Falcon Ridge also had an outdoor restaurant, a small pro shop and bathrooms with showers. The actual golf course looked nice.

We weren't very good and our golf balls didn't go very far but we still had fun. Golf is something I've always wanted to try and learn so this was a good first step. Jason said he enjoyed it but he wouldn't do it again😂
