On Friday, Jason and I completed another two things from our bucket list!
First, we went bowling at Merivale Bowling Centre.
We went around 12pm and it wasn't too busy. I checked online and you can't make reservations so we thought a weekday would be the best time to go to avoid wait times. It cost us $34 for two games and the shoe rental. We thought this was a reasonable price. We were given one of the lanes downstairs which is glow in the dark! Merivale bowling lanes is a great places with many lanes, an arcade and snacks. At our lane there was a table and lots of seats so you can eat or drink. Bowling was super fun! Jason and I both got a few strikes but again, he ended up winning 😂😂😂

Mooshu Ice Cream - 477 Bank St.
After bowling, we headed over to Mooshu ice cream on Bank Street. I've heard many great things about this place! The shop isn't actually open to go inside it's more-so just a walk up window. It wasn't busy when we went but I've heard it can get busy. Mooshu had a handful of scooping flavours and they also sell pints of ice cream. Jason and I both got one scoop of the local strawberry and one scoop of the friend -chip flavour. For two scoops for each of us it came to $16. This is a bit pricey although the ice cream is handmade and it was delicious! They offer different types of cones or small cups. The cups and logo are super cute! We could tell as soon as we tasted it that it was homemade. For ice cream, it was super high quality. It didn't melt fast at all in the warm sun. We figured at Dairy Queen or other ice cream shops, two scoops would probably be $5 - $6 so given that this was homemade, it was definitely worth it. Another nice thing about Mooshu is that they list every ingredient since it's homemade. This is very helpful since Jason is allergic to peanuts. Jason and I both loved the ice cream and we will be going back for sure!
