Today, Jason and I checked out another super cool place in Ottawa where you can pick your own tulips!!! This isn't on our bucket list but I saw it advertised online and knew we had to go.

This is the LAST WEEKEND that Green Corners is open for the season so if you'd like to go, head over to their website ASAP to book tickets for this weekend!
I saw Green Corners recently post that they are experiencing financial difficulty due to a poor season so I am really glad we went out to support this local business!
Green Corners is located in Edwards, off of Mitch Owens Road.
It is $17 to pick 10 tulips and $7 to browse. Personally, I think this is very well priced compared to tulips from a store plus you get the experience of picking your own which is so cool!
The parking area is fairly small. You drive into the back into a field area which was fine but getting out was worse because it was very muddy. Other than that it was easy to get there and get my car parked.
First, you show your email ticket confirmation and the staff will show you how to pick the tulips and give you a basket. Then, you go to the field to pick! It was an absolutely beautiful place! So many colours to pick from!

After picking our tulips we went over to a tent to wrap them up. The staff show you how to wrap the tulips in newspaper. We then headed over to another small garden to see more tulips. I think they host activities in the tulip fields because we saw a group of people doing yoga!

Overall, this was a very fun experience! Definitely kid friendly but fun for the whole family as well. I would personally recommend going early as it could get very busy for parking, but the field is very big and spaced out. Definitely go check out Green Corners this weekend!
