Candlelight Concerts Ottawa - Adele Edition!

From our 2023 Bucket List blog post, we got a suggestion to go to a Concert by Candlelight in downtown Ottawa! I have seen so many ads for these concerts and they look amazing. We decided to go to the Adele tribute concert on Saturday at First Baptist Church.

Tickets are for sale on the website below and they have a variety of different music selections available. It seems that tickets sell out fast so if you want to go get them fast! The cheapest tickets are $30 in Zone D near the back and this was all that was left when we purchased our tickets, since it was fairly last minute!

Candlelight Concert Tickets through Fever

We arrived about 45 minutes early as the doors open one hour prior to show time. There were some people already there but it wasn't packed yet. If you are attending the show in Ottawa, we recommend parking in the underground garage at Ottawa City Hall right across the street. On weekend nights it's only $2! The night we went also happened to be like the coldest day of the year!!! However, we still had a great time.

When we walked in, there were hundreds of candles set up all throughout the church and it was beautiful! There were also some lights on but they were shut off once the performance started. The show started at 8:45pm and was briefly introduced by a member of the quartet. They listed out the set list which was probably about 12 songs and the show was one hour long.

The string quartet was amazing! The church was so gorgeous and the quartet played all of Adele's biggest hits! It had such a relaxing vibe. Unfortunately, the audience was not allowed to film until the final song, which makes sense because with everyone's phones out it would have made it hard to see and focus on the music.

We really loved the concert and I definitely think we will be going to another Candlelight Concert. There are plenty coming up in Ottawa such as an ABBA tribute and Taylor Swift tribute so check out the Fever website or app if you're interested (click the button above)!
